The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) supports communication between researchers and between science and society.
The SNSF awards grants for:
- academic conferences in Switzerland
- international exploratory workshops
For an event to be funded by the SNSF, it must be of obvious interest to the Swiss research community.
- academic publications
The SNSF's publication grants provide financing for the publication of academic work of high quality.
- communication projects by researchers that allow science to interact with society (Agora)
The aim of the projects is to spread research results and foster dialogue on how science works and on how it impacts society.
