Research Commissions 

The university-based Research Commissions act as intermediaries between the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and their home institutions. The Research Commissions provides input for the evaluation of applications from their home institution. The input may include the infrastructure of the university, academic priorities and personnel policy.

The Research Commissions autonomously evaluate and decide on applications for awards submitted by career-entry researchers from their home institutions.
