The programme ProDoc was discontinued. There is no further call.
ProDoc has made a major contribution to the launching and reinforcement of high-level doctoral programmes in Switzerland.
From 2006 to 2007, the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) was in charge of this programme. From 2008 to 2012, it was a common programme of the SNSF and the Rectors' Conference of the Swiss Universities (CRUS).
Since 2012, the universities have been responsible for all forms of doctoral studies in the framework of CRUS; this includes inter-university programmes.
