Encouragement for research projects
SNFS's DORE research grants provide support for projects of usually between one to three years. The awards can be used to pay project staff salaries and material costs. Funding is contingent on the participation of a partner institution which supervises the project’s practical relevance and is interested in applying the final research results. The practical partner must bear at least 30% of project expenditures.
For research partnerships with universities (universities of applied sciences, universities, Swiss federal institutes of technology), a maximum grant of 30% of the amount requested from SNSF can be requested for the researchers of the partner institutions.
Grant guidelines and the DORE regulations provide further information.
