SwissCore 

SwissCore is the contact office of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) in Brussels, co-financed by the State Secretariat for Education and Research (SER) and the Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology (OPET).

It serves as the antenna for Swiss research in Brussels and follows developments in the research, innovation and education policies of the European Union (EU). SwissCore delivers first-hand information on the European research, innovation and education programmes.

SwissCore works in close collaboration with Euresearch, the Swiss information network for European research. SwissCore also supports Swiss researchers who would like to participate in the Research Framework Programmes of the EU, advises them about making contacts in Brussels and offers local working infrastructure (meeting rooms and offices).

In addition, SwissCore facilitates the establishment of contacts among research-policy decision makers in Switzerland and European institutions in Brussels and organises events to raise the profile of Switzerland in Europe in the areas of research, innovation and education.
