ERA-NET
The ERA-NET scheme aims at improving the co-operation and coordination of research activities carried out at a national or regional level in the EU Member States and Associated States. In doing so, it aims at the national and regional programme makers and managers, such as the research ministries and national research organisations. Currently, Switzerland participates in approximately 25 ERA-NETs in a variety of research areas.
The ERA-NET scheme is implemented through a yearly call for proposals, published by the European Commission.
All ERA-NETs launch calls for project proposals and the rules for these may differ between the ERA-NETs.
Research groups who are interested in participating in ERA-NET initiatives are requested to contact the relevant SNSF Divisions.
