13 research projects for "Research Partnerships with Developing Countries" have been selected after the first call of the phase 2008-2011. The thematic range of the projects is wide, reaching from tuberculosis epidemiology or collective identities in sustainable tourism development strategies to fluoride removal options for drinking water.
The projects are distributed over Africa, Asia, Latin America and Oceania. In the 13 projects, 16 partners are involved and more than 45 scientists from the South are supported.
