The P3 research database of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) gives information about supported projects and funding recipients. It is available under open access and via the SNSF website.
A central feature of the P3 research database are the project abstracts, which provide public information on the contents of the research projects.
Researchers funded by the SNSF are obliged to submit an easily understandable project abstract aimed at a lay public. The abstract is to outline the background, problems and methodologies as well as (possible) results and their significance.
You will find more information in the document "Regulations on information, valorisation and rights to research results" (articles 2.1 and 2.2) under "on this subject".
The sub-heading "Lay summary data entry" leads to the appropriate input screen.
The SNSF can be notified of address changes etc. via the sub-heading "Update personal informations".
The lay summary and data input will be integrated into mySNF with the introduction of applications in electronic form.
