NRP 43 - Formation and Employment

The aim of this programme is to research the relationship between education and employment. In particular, it will clarify how this interplay is shaped by professional organisations, new information and communication technologies, the organisation of the education sector and the world of work. Through interdisciplinary research, basic principles will be developed which will allow those responsible in education, politics, commerce and industry, companies and professional organisations to make lasting improvements to the employment situation in Switzerland by timely and appropriate measures.
