Brazilian-Swiss Joint Research Programme

Research cooperation with Brazil

The Brazilian-Swiss Joint Research Programme (BSJRP) is aimed at researchers in Switzerland who wish to address specific research questions together with partners in Brazil.

Joint Research Projects (JRPs) enable researchers in Switzerland to conduct a joint project together with a Brazilian partner. The projects will have a duration of three years, with funding on the Swiss side amounting to a maximum of CHF 250,000 per project. The costs covered by the grants are comparable to those covered in national SNSF projects (equipment, research funds, salaries). The Brazilian scientists are supported by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and the Brazilian National Council of State Funding Agencies (CONFAP).
