At the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), the Weave process can be launched within the "Stand-Alone Projects" funding scheme.
Weave proposals are part of the SNSF's project funding scheme. Applicants may have a maximum of two simultaneous project funding grants. One of these must be a Weave/Lead Agency/International Co-Investigator Scheme project. In addition, the topics of the two projects must be clearly distinct from one another.
The duration of the projects is the same in both countries and must not exceed 48 months. The project is due to start on the same date in both countries.
If you are planning to submit your Weave proposal in a language other than English (only possible in certain disciplines in the humanities and social sciences), you will need to discuss this in advance with the agencies involved.
The FWF does not set any specific deadlines.
If the application is submitted to the FWF, a copy must be submitted to the SNSF via mySNF within seven days.
