Vietnamese-Swiss Joint Research Projects
In the context of the bilateral cooperation programmes of the Swiss government, an agreement was signed between the SNSF and the National Foundation for Science & Technology Development (NAFOSTED) in Vietnam. This autumn, the two funding bodies are launching the first call for Joint Research Projects (JRPs) between the two countries.
The JRPs enables researchers in Switzerland to carry out joint projects together with research partners in Vietnam. The call for proposals will be open to all disciplines; the deadline for submissions is 15 January 2021. The projects will run for a period of two to three years, with a maximum of CHF 250,000 per project available for the Swiss part. Up to 10 projects will be funded under the budget of the bilateral programmes of the Swiss government.
