CHIST-ERA 2013
CHIST-ERA funds EU collaborations in Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies. This year’s call supports the two topics "Adaptive Machines in Complex Environments" and "Heterogenous Distributed Computing". Researchers in Switzerland participating in international collaborations addressing these topics may submit proposals.
Within the scope of the ERA-NET funding scheme CHIST-ERA (Challenges in Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies ERA-NET), proposals may be submitted by international consortia with research partners in at least three of the following countries: Austria, Belgium (Flanders), France, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom.
The proposals will be scientifically evaluated by an international panel. However, each partner of the consortium will be funded by a research funding organization of its country. Researchers in Switzerland must meet the eligibility requirements of the SNSF for project funding.
In parallel to the submission of a full proposal to CHIST-ERA, applicants in Switzerland must also submit an administrative application to the SNSF by 21 January 2014. Researchers who have never been supported by this funding scheme are requested to contact the SNSF before submitting an application.
