Research partnerships with developing countries
The programme "Research Partnerships with Developing Countries" will be disconti-nued after the current phase. It has been replaced by the "Swiss Programme for Research on Global Issues for Development" (r4d programme).
The funding scheme is a joint initiative of the SNSF and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). Its mission was to fund high-quality research projects on problems affecting developing countries.
The programme helped to foster links between researchers in Switzerland and in the global South as well as to strengthen research potentials in developing countries.
