Daniel Höchli, Director of the SNSF, to join CURAVIVA

Portrait of Daniel Höchli

Daniel Höchli will step down as Director of the Administrative Offices of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). He has been appointed as the new Director of the umbrella association CURAVIVA Schweiz.

After ten years as Director of the Administrative Offices of the SNSF, Daniel Höchli has decided to step down and embrace a new professional challenge. As of April 2016, he will be the new Director of CURAVIVA Schweiz, the national umbrella association representing the interests of over 2500 homes and institutions in the area of social and health care.

The SNSF regrets this decision by its long-standing and successful Director. With his wide knowledge, his strategic know-how and his great dedication to the mission of the SNSF and to its employees, he was a strong and far-seeing leader. We wish him continued success in his new job. The process of electing his successor will get under way in the next few days, under the auspices of the President of the Foundation Council, Gabriele Gendotti.
