The SNSF is to withdraw its support for postgraduate courses
The SNSF will stop co-funding postgraduate courses at the end of 2015. There will therefore be no further submission deadline in 2016.
The SNSF has co-funded postgraduate courses in disciplines of the humanities and social sciences for a number of years and remains convinced of their high relevance and effectiveness. According to the current division of tasks, however, the education of doctoral students is the responsibility of the higher education institutions. For this resaon, the SNSF has decided to withdraw its support for this funding measure.
