Partnerships for Research and Education (PIRE) - first-time participation by the SNSF
PIRE is a programme of the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the United States. For the first time, the SNSF is participating as a partner in this programme. This means that Swiss teams involved in successful PIRE applications can be funded by the SNSF. Proposals must be submitted to the NSF in the US.
Scientists in Switzerland who will be involved in a PIRE application are strongly encouraged to complete and hand in the relevant registration form of the SNSF prior to submission.
