Joint Programme on Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND): pre-announcement call 2017
The EU Joint Programme on Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND) will launch a call for "Multinational Research Projects for Pathway Analysis across Neurodegenerative Diseases" in 2017.
The objective of the upcoming call is to perform analyses across the following diseases and identify common underlying mechanisms:
- Alzheimer's disease and other dementias
- Parkinson's disease and PD‐related disorders
- Prion diseases
- Motor neuron diseases
- Huntington's disease
- Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA)
- Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)
Up to six research groups from at least three countries may collaborate within a consortium. The call is scheduled to open in January 2017.
