Project funding
Under the project funding scheme, qualified researchers define their research themes and objectives themselves and conduct their project under their own responsibility. As 1 October 2017 falls on a Sunday, the submission deadline for proposals is 2 October 2017 at 5 p.m.
The innovations introduced last year are intended to encourage researchers to focus on a single project and to plan its completion over a period of up to four years. The researchers can apply for funding of research costs and staff salaries, as well as of scientific cooperation, networking and communication; however, they may not apply for their own salaries.
