Eleven MD-PhD fellowships awarded

The SNSF, the SAMS and the Swiss cancer research foundation will support eleven young medical doctors in doing their PhDs

The national MD-PhD commission have awarded fellowships to 11 of the proposed 21 young medical doctors aiming to do a PhD.

Three organisations are sponsoring the fellowships in 2017: the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences (SAMS), which leads the initiative, will finance one fellowship, the SNSF seven and the Swiss cancer research foundation (KFS) three.
