Postdoc.Mobility - First call for proposals
Postdoc.Mobility fellowships replace Advanced Postdoc.Mobility fellowships with immediate effect, supporting postdocs who wish to conduct or extend a research stay abroad.
The fellowships are in principle granted for 24 months, but never for less than 12 months. The total duration of 36 months between a PM fellowship and other potential SNSF mobility fellowships may not be exceeded. Compared to APM fellowships, the eligibility window after obtaining a PhD/state examination diploma is shorter now (3 resp. 8 years). In response to a request giving valid reasons, an extension of a maximum of 1 year may be granted. Recipients of a PM or APM fellowship may apply for a return phase of 3 to 12 months at a research institution in Switzerland.
