The new call for the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR) aims at funding international projects to develop new drugs and treatments.

The National Research Programme "Antimicrobial Resistance" (NRP 72) has ring-fenced 600,000 euros for researchers participating in the European Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR). Swiss project partners can take part in international projects developing new drugs and treatments to combat antibiotic resistance. The project teams should consist of three to six partners from the 16 participating countries. A total funding amount of 600,000 euros will be made available. Successful participants from Switzerland must follow the basic rules and guidelines of NRP 72.
