NORFACE: pre-announcement of the Governance call
NORFACE is launching the call “Democratic governance in a turbulent age (Governance)” in December 2018. The call will be open to all researchers in the social sciences and humanities in Switzerland.
The ERA-NET NORFACE is a partnership of national research funding agencies in Europe dedicated to leading and developing opportunities for scientists in the area of social and behavioural sciences.
NORFACE is launching the call “Democratic governance in a turbulent age (Governance)”. Researchers from Switzerland who are interested in collaborating within the scope of international consortia can submit pre-proposals until 19 February 2019. The call for proposals will open and will be published on the NORFACE website in December 2018. Applicants whose pre-proposals are accepted will be notified at the beginning of June 2019 and invited to submit a full proposal.
Each project team should consist of three or more research partners from three or more different countries participating in this NORFACE Call, i.e. Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Researchers from other countries may participate as cooperation partners.
The pre-proposals and full proposals will be assessed by an international independent evaluation panel. All partners in a consortium are supported by the research funding organisations of their respective countries or regions. Applicants from Switzerland must be eligible for the funding scheme "project funding" of the SNSF.
Applicants based in Switzerland must submit an administrative application via mySNF for the same deadline as the consortium application submitted at NORFACE (mySNF under Programmes/ERA-NET: Pre-proposal).
