The Austrian physicist Felicitas Pauss (ETH Zurich) assumed the ad interim position of President of the Foundation Council on 1 April 2018
As of 2017, Matthias Egger is the new President of the National Research Council of the SNSF.
Since 2016, Angelika Kalt is the new Director of the SNSF.
