The National Centres of Competence in Research (NCCRs) are an innovative funding instrument provided by the Swiss National Science Foundation. Researchers cooperate intensively on an inter-institutional and cross-disciplinary basis. By taking this special approach to their work, the NCCRs carry out cutting-edge research and create real added value. They are a Swiss success story.
