Completed National Centres of Competence in Research 

A National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) has a maximum running time of twelve years. After completion of the NCCR, the Swiss National Science Foundation appraises its performance. This includes the quality of the scientific results and their international relevance as well as the structural impetus that the NCCR has given to Swiss research, to the promotion of junior scientists and to knowledge and technology transfer.
