SNSF to visit nine higher education institutions

In November 2017, the SNSF will visit higher education institutions in Lugano, Basel, Lausanne, Zurich and Geneva. The aim of this "Tour de Suisse" is to present the SNSF funding schemes to researchers.

The SNSF aims to visit the Swiss higher education institutions including universities of applied sciences and universities of teacher education more frequently. For this reason, it will replace the traditional Research Day with a "Tour de Suisse" as of this year. The SNSF will visit nine institutions for half a day each, presenting its main funding schemes: project funding, career schemes, programmes, international cooperation and science communication. During these visits, researchers will be able to obtain a complete set of information and have their questions answered by the people who manage the respective funding schemes at the SNSF.
