Second thematically open call of r4d: 13 projects approved
The SNSF has approved 13 new projects of the 2nd thematically open call.
The r4d call met with great demand from the research community. In a two-step evaluation, 13 projects out of 80 submitted pre-proposals have been selected. The two criteria, scientific quality and relevance for development, were equally weighted. An overall budget of CHF 6.6 million is available for the 3-year projects.
The researchers from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Switzerland work in partnership on a wide range of topics, such as health, social media for education, resource extraction or rice diversity.
Further information about the projects can be found on the website of r4d.
