The SNSF visits the Uni Lausanne

On 12 November 2015 as part of the Research Day, the SNSF will be visiting the University of Lausanne to present the SNSF’s funding schemes with information stands and lectures. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive detailed information on the individual funding schemes. Researchers from all higher education institutions are welcome.

How does the SNSF support research projects and young scientists? The purpose of the Research Day is to provide answers to these questions for junior researchers. They will receive information on a variety of different research grants and Innovation (CTI).

An accompanying lecture will summarise the various funding schemes of the SNSF. A (panel) discussion on "Evaluation: A look behind the scenes" should provide interesting insights into how applications are assessed. Finally, participants will be given the opportunity to learn more about eligibility criteria and how to draft applications.

Research Day is open to researchers from all Swiss institutions of higher education. It presents a perfect opportunity for gaining comprehensive information and putting questions to the persons directly responsible. Attendance is free, registration is not required. The talks will be in French and the Powerpoint presentations in English. Members of the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions in English, French or German.
