SNSF Foundation Council: new vice president and member of Executive Committee
For the remainder of the current term of office (2012-2015), the Foundation Council of the SNSF has elected Felicitas Pauss as its new vice president. It also elected a new member to the Executive Committee of the Foundation Council.
On 1 July 2014, Felicitas Pauss (SCNAT) will succeed Anne-Claude Berthoud (SAHS) as vice president of the Foundation Council. She is professor for experimental particle physics at the Institute for Particle Physics at ETH Zurich.
In addition, the representatives of the scientific organisations in the Foundation Council have elected Jakob Limacher (Rectors' Conference of the Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences, KFH) as a new member of the Executive Committee of the Foundation Council, succeeding Crispino Bergamaschi (KFH). He will take up office immediately.
