More networked research thanks to project partners: a look at the first years
Since 2017, partners can contribute to specific aspects of research projects supported by the project funding scheme. How often are partners involved? Are there differences between research areas? Where are project partners based?
Project funding is the largest funding scheme of the SNSF; every year, it approves around 500 million francs for selected projects. As of grants funded in 2017, applicants have been able to include partners in their applications. Project partners are expected to make a partial contribution without being responsible for the project, and their contribution can be financed from the project budget.
