NRP 60 Gender Equality
The National Research Programme "Gender Equality" (NRP 60) aims to analyse gender equality policy and measures in Switzerland and to investigate the reasons for persisting inequalities between men and women.
NRP 60 has three main research areas:
1. Analysis of policy processes:
- Analyses of the development and implementation of gender equality policies
- Analysis of fields of policy and planning not specifically related to or addressing gender equality
2. Evaluation of gender equality measures:
- Evaluation of strategies and measures for gender equality
- Analysis of strategies and measures not specifically related to or addressing gender equality
3. Problem-oriented analyses of family, work, and education:
Analyses of the complex reasons for persisting inequalities between men and women
The research findings of NRP 60 should inform the development of a sustainable gender equality policy.
