NRP 75 "Big Data"
The goal of the new programme is to generate scientific knowledge on the efficient use of big data. Researchers can now submit their proposals.
The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is issuing a call for the National Research Programme "Big Data" (NRP 75) based on a mandate from the Federal Council.
NRP 75 will address the technical questions raised by big data (infrastructures, machine learning, security), study the societal challenges involved (social acceptance, regulatory aspects and economic impacts) and facilitate the development of new applications.
Interested researchers can submit project outlines (pre-proposals) until 13 January 2016.
