The SNSF is reorganising as of 2024 so that it can continue performing its tasks effectively on the basis of its new Statutes. Find out all you need to know at two online information events in November.

The SNSF's existing organisational structure no longer fully meets tomorrow's needs. The Statutes were last partially revised in 2007, and some of the basic structures date back to the 1970s.

With this revision, known as GO 2024, the SNSF is responding to developments in research and research funding by adopting a more flexible structure. This will enable it to continue performing its duties effectively and to meet future challenges flexibly and professionally. To this end, it will have a smaller Foundation Council, a Research Council with more competencies and a new body, the Delegates Assembly.

At two information events, we will present the details of this new organisation and its implications for the work done by the SNSF. The presentations will be given in English, questions can be sent by e-mail to GO2024@snf.chExternal Link Icon in German, French or English with immediate effect.
