EqUIP - EU-India Platform for the Social Sciences and Humanities
The SNSF is taking part in the first call for proposals of the EU-India Platform for the Social Sciences and Humanities (EqUIP).
This call has been developed as part of the EU-India Platform for the Social Sciences and Humanities (EqUIP), which promotes cooperation between funding agencies to help enhance research collaboration between social sciences and humanities (SSH) research communities in Europe and India.
The call is open for the following thematic areas:sustainability, equity, wellbeing and cultural connections, with the emphasis on the Indian and European dimensions in both contemporary and historical contexts.
Funders strongly encourage interdisciplinary approaches across SSH to address the themes of this call. At the same time, the call will allow for other disciplines to be included in proposals, provided this is within the remit of the funding agencies of the respective countries and the main focus remains within the scope of SSH.
Researchers are invited to submit proposals for collaborative research projects between applicants from at least three of the following countries:Finland, France, India, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Every proposal must involve applicants from India who are eligible for funding by the participating Indian funding agencies.
