COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a funding programme for scientific and technological research networks throughout Europe and beyond. COST is funded mainly through the European Framework Programmes. The following options for participation are available in the framework of COST and in the framework of the SNSF:

  • Participating in an ongoing COST Action
  • Submitting to COST a proposal for a new COST Action
  • Submitting to the SNSF a proposal for a research project associated with an ongoing COST Action in the call for COST Projects in Switzerland

The SNSF invites all interested parties to a webinar about COST on 16 June 2022 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. Join this session to learn about COST's role in promoting and spreading research excellence. The objective of the webinar is to provide researchers and innovators with information about the potential for network-building offered by COST, how to get involved in a COST Action ,how to prepare a COST Action proposal and how to submit a SNSF proposal for a research project associated with an ongoing COST Action. The information session will also include the testimonial of a researcher about the benefits of participating in COST Actions, followed by Q&A time.

The event is public and will take place online. Participation is free. Please register by 16 June 2022. Kindly note that the webinar will be recorded.
