The third edition of the CIFAR-SNSF Radical Interdisciplinarity Workshop will take place in Lucerne in March 2027. This two-day event is aimed at researchers who completed their doctorate no more than ten years ago.

The theme of the CIFAR-SNSF Radical Interdisciplinarity Workshop 2027 is One Health. The focus is on health research relating to humans, animals and the environment. Societal challenges such as global warming and rapid urbanisation will be examined from the perspective of various research disciplines.

Researchers who completed their doctorate no more than ten years ago and who hold a postdoctoral or faculty position in Switzerland or Canada are eligible to apply. The application deadline is 18 November 2026. The participation costs will be covered by the SNSF-CIFAR partnership.
