FLARE - Approval of third series of proposals
The nine applications approved in the context of the third call for proposals for FLARE will benefit from total funding of CHF 6.3 million.
The SNSF has for the third time evaluated proposals submitted within the scope of the initiative FLARE (Funding LArge international REsearch projects). FLARE promotes the construction and maintenance of instruments for large-scale international research projects in the fields of particle physics, astrophysics and astroparticle physics.
The nine applications approved from this third call have been awarded grants worth CHF 6.3 million in total. The projects got underway on 1 April 2015. The deadline for submission of the next series of proposals for the FLARE funding scheme is 15 November 2015.
