Project funding
Under the project funding scheme, qualified researchers define their research themes and objectives themselves and conduct their project under their own responsibility.
The researchers can apply for funding of research costs and staff salaries, as well as of scientific cooperation, networking and communication; however, they may not apply for their own salaries. Applicants will then have until 3 April 2024 to submit their proposal on the SNSF Portal. Even if you already have a mySNF account, you will need to create a new account for the SNSF Portal. We recommend that you take enough time to familiarise yourself with the portal and to enter the proposal.
