BRIDGE: Information events focusing on Proof of Concept

This autumn, BRIDGE will conduct three information events in Manno, Olten and Neuchâtel. The events will focus on the Proof of Concept funding line.

BRIDGE is a joint programme conducted by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and the Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI). It offers new funding schemes at the intersection of basic research and science-based innovation, thereby supplementing the funding activities of the two organisations.

Young researchers are most welcome to participate in the events, where members of the BRIDGE Steering Committee and of the evaluation panel will provide an overview of the funding options offered under the BRIDGE programme. They will also talk about their initial experiences with the Proof of Concept funding line and explain the submission of proposals and potential award of funding through BRIDGE. This will be followed by a buffet lunch, the perfect opportunity to discuss specific points in greater detail. In particular, we look forward to welcoming researchers from the humanities and social sciences and from the universities of applied sciences.

Dates and locations:

  • Manno, SUPSI, 26 September 2017
  • Olten, FHNW, 18 October 2017
  • Neuchâtel, HE-ARC, 23 October 2017

The events will mostly take place over lunch. Attendance is free. As there is only a limited number of places, registration is mandatory. The registration form and further detailed information are available on the web page given below.
