Pre-registration with ANR France for Lead Agency applications in 2017
Researchers intending to submit lead agency proposals to the ANR in spring 2017 must be aware that they are required to pre-register by 27 October, 1 p.m.
The Lead Agency process is aimed at researchers in Switzerland who wish to conduct a cross-border research project. The process simplifies the submission and evaluation of transnational applications.
The SNSF and the Agence Nationale de Recherche (ANR) have agreed to take turns as the Lead Agency on a yearly basis. In 2017, Lead Agency applications with France may only be submitted to the ANR, regardless of whether the larger portion of the project budget is requested in Switzerland or in France.
The French project partners will need to pre-register at the ANR by 27 October, 1 p.m. if they want to be eligible to submit applications in April 2017. Submitting applications at a later date will not be possible without such registration. There is no need to register with the SNSF.
